Legend of the Dreamcatcher
Dream Catchers were made of willow, or small branches, then pulled into a circle and tied with a rawhide. A web was woven into the circle (like a spider web). Sometimes small objects were woven into a or tied to the web to influence certain dreams. The Dream Catcher was then hung in sleeping places and it was believed only good dreams know how to get through the web. All evil and bad dreams were caught, then destroyed by the morning sun. This is the meaning of the Dreamcatcher.
